The Kanagawa Prefectural Government has partnered with the Japan Society in New York City to introduce some of the prefecture’s best features through a series of three events in January, giving attendees a taste of what truly makes the prefecture special.
Kanagawa Prefecture is located against the coast of Japan, just south of Tokyo, and Yokohama, the second largest city in Japan after Tokyo, is the prefecture’s capital city. In addition to all of Yokohama’s tourist attractions, if you ever take a day trip outside Tokyo to visit some more verdant and natural areas, chances are great that you’ll be traveling to Kanagawa Prefecture. But this beautiful area has far more in store for interested travelers than can fit into a single day trip. Come join experts and residents of Kanagawa with the Japan Society to learn more about this special area’s culture!
