The Office of the City of Yokohama Representative to Southeast and South Asia joined the “8th Vietnam-Japan Cultural Exchange Festival in Da Nang City 2023”, which was held at Bien Dong Park in Da Nang City from July 13th (Thursday) to 16th (Sunday) It was co-organized by the Da Nang People’s Committee and the Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang. At the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Japan-Vietnam diplomatic relations, Chief Representative of the Office of the City of Yokohama Representative to Southeast and South Asia took the podium and spoke on the relationship between Yokohama City and Da Nang, the attractiveness of tourism to Yokohama City, and the upcoming ” International Horticultural Expo 2027″ that will be held in Yokohama, Japan.
At the festival, various events were held to introduce Japanese culture, such as calligraphy, flower arrangement, live concerts, and cosplay competitions, and an impressive number of Vietnamese people attended to experience and interact with Japanese culture and art at the seaside venue.
The City of Yokohama also attended a meeting with the chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee and a business matching event between DaNang Young Business Association and YUSA.
