LIP. Yokohama to host a matching event to spark cross-sector collaboration in the healthcare & medical fields

LIP. Yokohama is an innovation platform that aims to strengthen collaboration between various stakeholders in the life science industry including healthcare companies, collaborators in the IT and manufacturing industries, SMEs/startups, and those in the science & tech research community. As part of its wide-ranging efforts to promote partnerships and open innovation in life science, LIP. Yokohama will hold a cross-sector matching event at the TKP Garden City PREMIUM Minato Mirai on February 8, 13:30-17:00. The event will feature talks by 11 leading companies from a variety of industries with interests in pursuing life science-related open innovation projects, as well as poster presentations by local bio ventures and SMEs showcasing their latest technology developments. The presentations will be followed by a networking session. The list of companies attending the event include AGC, Fujitsu, IHI, Murata Manufacturing, Nikon, Shiseido, and Yahoo! Japan.

Healthcare continues to be a promising area for innovation and collaboration between multiple industry sectors and academia. Yokohama is committed to supporting the formation of new and exciting business alliances that will further propel life science innovation.
