Yokohama’s initiatives to realize a decarbonized society were presented at the German-Japanese Environment and Energy Dialogue Forum
The City of Yokohama was invited to participate in the conference, and through online participation introduced its efforts to achieve decarbonization, including thorough energy conservation, renewable energy conversion, and renewable energy supply to the city in collaboration with other cities, under the title of “Zero Carbon Yokohama 2050”.
Promoting the ‘2027 Yokohama International Horticultural Exposition’ to the world at the Dutch International Horticultural Expo
Japan Day was held on 7 September at the Almere International Horticultural Exposition “Floriade 2022” in the suburbs of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The City of Yokohama participated in the event, promoting the International Horticultural Exposition in Yokohama to the world as the city where the expo will be held in 2027.

On August 18, “Digital Demoday 2022,” Germany’s largest tech startup event, was held in Düsseldorf.
The main themes of this year’s startup event were Hightech, Sustainability, and Metaverse (virtual space) in the fields of virtual reality, augmented reality, drones, smart devices, robotics, IoT, and cybersecurity.
