Having been selected as one of the Global Startup Cities in Japan by the national government in 2020, the City of Yokohama, on January 6th, 2021, will host an online pitch event in which four Yokohama-based life science startups will deliver pitches in order to promote themselves towards business expansion into the U.S. The four companies just completed an accelerator program called the Springboard Program in Yokohama provided by CONNECT with San Diego Venture Group (CONNECT) and supported by the Kihara Memorial Yokohama Foundation for the Advancement of Life Sciences. These companies will demonstrate the results of their hard work in the mentoring program while presenting their innovative technologies and products to investors, potential partners, and all other interested parties.

This event will be held through our partnership with California bio startup supporters California Life Sciences Institute (CLSI) and Ikigai Accelerator.
