The World’s largest Medical Technology Trade Fair “COMPAMED” was held in Düsseldorf, Germany, and five Companies from Yokohama exhibited their Technologies

COMPAMED2022, the world’s largest medical technology trade fair, was held in Düsseldorf, Germany, from November 14 to 17. More than 81,000 visitors from Europe, Asia, the Americas, and other parts of the world attended the event, as did more than 5,000 exhibitors.

From Yokohama, the Yokohama Corporate Management Support Foundation (IDEC Yokohama) set up the Yokohama Pavilion, where five companies, which aim to use Europe as a foothold to enter overseas medical device-related markets, exhibited their technologies.

The Yokohama Europe Office also participated in the event, providing networking support for the exhibiting companies from Yokohama.

On 23 June 2025, the Chief Representative of the European Office of the City of Yokohama, on behalf of Mayor Yamanaka, attended an international conference in Paris to mark the tenth anniversary of the Paris Agreement. City leaders and international organizations from around the world came together to promote the achievements of the Paris Agreement and express further solidarity towards COP30.
