On January 21st Saturday and 22nd Sunday, the Indo-Japan Cultural Festival was held at the World Trade Center in India, Mumbai, a sister city of Yokohama.
The Office of the City of Yokohama Representative to Southeast and South Asia exhibited a booth and displayed the history of the sister cities of Yokohama and Mumbai which helped to promote the friendship between Yokohama and Mumbai. Our booth received very keen interest and specific questions on Yokohama’s tourist attractions and the best timing to visit from Indian visitors.
The director also took to the event stage to promote Yokohama city’s tourism attractions. In addition, the venue was livened up with the variety of creative shows on stage, such as Karate and Yoga performed by Indians, and Indian dances and sang by Japanese.
